The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a North Bellmore man for multiple Burglaries that occurred within Nassau County.
According to detectives, 911 received a call for a burglary in progress at a residence on Broadway in Bethpage. Upon arrival, second Precinct Officers located Brian Tierney, 23 of 2369 Henry Street and placed him under arrest without incident. Subsequent investigation by detectives revealed the defendant was responsible for the following additional residential burglaries.
Tuesday, December 27, 2016 – Lilac Place residence, Massapequa – rear kitchen window – loss of personal papers and documentsFriday, December 16, 2016 – Thorens Avenue residence, Garden City Park – rear window – loss of assorted jewelryMonday, December 5, 2016 – Commonwealth Avenue residence, Massapequa – rear bedroom window – Assorted jewelry, personal property and US currencyThe investigation is ongoing.
Tierney is charged with four (4) counts of Burglary 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
