The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man for Possession of a Forged Instrument that occurred on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 4:40 p.m. in Lynbrook.
According to Crimes AgainstProperty detectives, Fifth Precinct officers observed the occupants of a parked2008 BMW acting suspicious at Stauderman Avenue and Forest Avenue and conducteda vehicle and traffic stop. During the investigation the driver BachirMombeleur, 32, of 371 Hawthorne Street was found to be in possession of severalre-encoded debit/credit cards and a credit card reader. The defendant was placed under arrest without incident.
Mombeleur is charged withfour (4) counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degreeand Criminal Possession of a Forgery Device. He will be arraigned on Sunday, January 15, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
