The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:50 am for multiple Grand Larcenies in Nassau County.
According to Crimes Against Property detectives, Joshua Slew, 23, of 345 Chauncey Street used fraudulent credit cards to purchase gift cards and other merchandise from nine different Stop & Shop locations in Nassau County. Slew was identified through photos taken at the time of the incidents. As a result of the defendants actions Stop & Shop has suffered a loss of more than $6000.
Slew is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, January 26, 2107 at First District Court in Hempstead.
