The Major Case Bureaureports the arrest of a West Babylon man for Criminal Possession and Sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred in Massapequa on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 6:30 pm.
According to Narcotics ViceSquad detectives, on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 3:30 pm, New York City Corrections Officer Recruit Rushauney R. Stephenson, 24, of 7 Essex Street,sold and possessed a quantity of cocaine to an undercover detective for an agreed amount of money.
On Saturday, January 21,2017 at 4:07 pm Recruit Rushauney R. Stephenson sold and possessed a quantity of cocaine to an undercover detective.
On Friday, January 27, 2017 at 6:30 pm Narcotics detectives with the assistance of the New York City Department of Corrections Investigations Division located the defendant at the New York City Correctional Academy which is located at John Jay College in Manhattan and placed him into police custody without incident. There were noinjuries reported.
Correction Officer Recruit Rushauney R. Stephenson is charged with two counts of Criminal sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He was arraigned on Saturday,January 28, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead.
