The Third Precinct reports the arrest of a Brooklyn woman for driving while intoxicated (Leandra’s Law) and endangering the welfare of a child that occurred in Great Neck on Saturday, 07/15/17 at 10:33 P.M.
According to police, Rosa Rodriguez, 30, of 772 Henry St., was operating a Toyota Corolla westbound on Northern Blvd., when a police officer on patrol observed her impeding traffic behind her, at a green light. After performing a traffic stop, the officer found her to be intoxicated and observed her 15-year-old son in the back seat.
No injuries were reported.
Rodriguez is being charged with two counts of DWI, Aggravated Driving Intoxicated (Child 15), Endangering the Welfare of Child and Minimum Speed Viol Impede Traffic. She was arraigned on Sunday, 07/16/17 in First District Court, Hempstead.
