Second Squad detectivesreport the arrests of four Jamaica (Queens) residents for possession ofmultiple forged checks that occurred in Bethpage on Tuesday, 07/25/17 at 5:05P.M.
According to detectives,Bureau of Special Operations police officers, while on patrol, observed a 2004Toyota Corolla driving with a child who was not in a safety seat into theparking lot of 4120 Hempstead Tpke. Officers then observed SuzetteLugo, 27, of 8285 Parsons Blvd., with her young daughter (age was notdisclosed), attempt to cash a forged check at the TD Bank located at 145Stewart Ave. After further investigation, officers found co-defendantsHakim Bey, 28, of 153-21 134 St., Darien Wilson, 22, of 140-48 Latham Lane, andNoel Billings, 27, of 138-15 Lloyd Rd., who were waiting in the auto, to be inpossession of multiple forged checks.
Lugo is being charged withthree counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, GrandLarceny 3rd Degree (Attempt), and Endangering Welfare ofChild. Bey is being charged with nine counts of Possession ForgedInstrument 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny 3rd Degree(Attempt). Wilson is being charged with five counts of Possession ForgedInstrument 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny 3rd Degree(Attempt). Billings is being charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree(Attempt). All four defendants will be arraigned on Wednesday, 07/26/17in First District, Court, Hempstead.
