The Second Squad Detectivesare investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at1:33 A.M in Farmingdale.
According to detectives, a60 year old male clerk was working at 7-11 convenience store located at 150Main Street. A male black, 6’0”tall, thin build, approximately 30-35 years oldwearing a dark sweatshirt, dark pants and a dark bandana across his faceentered the store and displayed a black handgun. The suspect demanded moneyfrom the register and then struck the victim multiple times causing himlacerations to his head. The Suspect took undetermined amount of UScurrency and fled scene on foot northbound on Main St. The victim wastransported to a local hospital by Police ambulance for treatment of hisinjuries. Further investigation revealed the suspect attempted the robbery of acab driver at 273 Main St. a few minutes earlier. At that location the subjectwas scene on a black and silver mountain bike. He was also observed around thesame time breaking into Stuff A Bagel located at 234 Main St. where he enteredthe store by breaking the front door window but quickly fled the store with noproceeds.
