The Major Case Bureau isinvestigating a Robbery that occurred in Hempstead on Thursday, September 07,2017 at 11:12 am.
According to Robbery Squaddetectives, an unknown male subject entered into the Chase Manhattan banklocated at 49 North Franklin Street and passed a note to a 24 year old femaleteller that demanded cash. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot inan unknown direction with an undetermined amount of US currency. There was noweapon displayed. There were 6 employees and 1 customer in the bank at the timeof the incident. There were no injuries reported.
The subject is described asbeing male, black, 30 years of age, 6’0” tall, 170 Lbs., thin build, darkbaseball cap, dark glasses, dark hooded Nike sweatshirt, dark sweat pants,goatee, and braided hair.
