The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Uniondale on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 5:15 am.
According to detectives, a 42 year old male victim was walking to his 1999 Acura parked in the vicinity of 566 Jerusalem Avenue when he was approached by a male subject that displayed a knife and demanded his wallet. The victim was then struck in the head with an unknown object by a second subject who approached from behind. Subject two also displayed a black handgun. The victim complied and handed over his wallet at which time he pushed the subjects and was able to run away north across Jerusalem Avenue. The two subjects were observed running west on Jerusalem Avenue. There were no injuries reported. The proceeds were a cell phone, and a black wallet that contained an undetermined amount of US currency and credit cards.
Subject one is described as being male, black, 25 years of age, thin build, burgundy hooded sweatshirt, red bandana partially covering face, knife.
Subject two is described as being male, black, black hooded sweatshirt, black bandana partially covering face, black handgun (no further description).
