Nassau Commissioner of Police Patrick Ryder, Members of the NCPD and NCPD Explorers will travel in a caravan to four different locations distributing over 3,000 toys to needy children. In partnership with County Executive-Elect Laura Curran (D-Baldwin) and Legislator Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) offices, organizations and school districts were given vouchers to participate at one of the following locations along the route:
When: Saturday, December 2, 2017

11:30 am Roosevelt HS/Middle School – 1 Wagner Ave, Roosevelt
1:00pm Bethel AME – 420 North Main Street, Freeport
2:30 pm First Church Baldwin – 881 Merrick Road, Baldwin
It is anticipated that over 3,000 children from Pre-K to 6th grade will be receiving a toy, as well as a voucher for a Long Island Nets basketball game donated by the organization. Thanks to the generous donations from International Warehouse Group, Pacific Link and Talay Rentals, a caravan featuring a float carrying Santa with gifts will arrive at each location to distribute to waiting children.
The NCPD will be leading Santa and the toy caravan with motorcycles and patrol cars giving the children and their families a chance to interact with the police.
Media is invited at all locations
