Fourth Squad detectives report the arrest of an Inwood man for incidents that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, February 16, 2018.
According to detectives, Justin Valentin, 19, of 383 Sheridan Boulevard, who was the subject of a 911 call, for one of two suspicious persons looking into parked vehicles, was located by Fourth Precinct officers and stopped in front of a Rockaway Turnpike home in Cedarhurst.
A subsequent investigation at the scene revealed that Valentin was in possession of items regarding larcenies that had occurred sometime earlier that morning from vehicles that were parked on Arbuckle Avenue, Woodmere and Clubhouse Road, Woodmere. He was then placed under arrest without incident.
Valentin is charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 2/17/2018.
