The Second Precinct’sProblem Oriented Policing Unit (P.O.P.) report the arrest of four (4)individuals during the “Project 21” initiative which targets the sale ofalcoholic beverages and tobacco products to minors within the confines ofNassau County. The initiative was conducted on April 27, 2018.
According to Officers, withthe assistance of an underage agent, the following individuals were arrestedfor Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage:
Defendant Malkit Singh, 60,of 11906 107th Avenue, South Richmond, N.Y., sold alcohol to a minorat BP Gas Station-300 N. Broadway, Hicksville. Defendant Singh is alsocharged with Improper Posting of a License.
Defendant Leon Bassen, 33,of 42 Central Parkway, Merrick, sold alcohol to a minor at Headliner Bar- 370W. Old Country Road, Hicksville.
Defendant Tabrej Masurkar,28, of 53 E. John Street, Hicksville, sold alcohol to a minor at The AmericanMini Mart-99 Railroad Station Plaza, Hicksville.
Defendant Jimenez MelvinEuceda, 36, of 7 Crescent Lane, Levittown, sold alcohol to a minor at ElSalvador Deli-87 Broadway, Hicksville.
The above defendants wereissued Nassau County Appearance Tickets returnable to First District Court,Hempstead on May 24, 2018.
