The Fifth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:30 pm in Lakeview.
According to detectives, a 34 year old male victim was walking on Woodfield Road at the corner of Pershing Boulevard when he was struck from behind by 5 male black teenagers (no further description). The victim was knocked to the ground as the subjects continued punching and kicking him about the body. The unknown subjects took the victim’s cell phone, gold necklace and an undetermined about of US currency. The victim was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.
