The First Precinct reports the arrest of a Uniondale man for violating the Social Host Law that occurred on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 6:10 pm in Uniondale.
According to police, officers responded to a 911 call for an intoxicated and unconscious female at 1090 Braxton Street. Upon arrival, police observed a large group of adolescents drinking alcoholic beverages in front of the house and heard loud music emanating from the residence. After entering the house, officers encountered an excessive number of people. Many of the individuals appeared to be under the age of twenty one (21).
The female, 20, was located inside the residence and was transported by a Nassau County Police Department Ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. A thorough investigation was conducted and Anthony Pellegrino, 21, of 1090 Braxton Street was arrested without incident.
A Town of Hempstead Building Inspector issued multiple summonses, deemed the house unfit for human occupancy and secured the premise.
Defendant Pellegrino was charged with the Social Host Law. He was issued an Appearance Ticket to return to First District Court, Hempstead on August, 6, 2018.
