The Fifth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Elmont on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 5:31 am.
According to detectives, a male subject and a female approached a 32 year old female employee working at Dunkin Donuts located at 1791 Dutch Broadway. The male subject displayed a long gun while both demanded cash. The victim opened her register and handed over an undisclosed amount of US currency. Both subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction. There was 1 employee in the store. There were no injuries reported.
The male subject is described as being male, black/Hispanic, light skinned, 5’9” tall, thin build, Yankee baseball cap, brown hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, beige work boots.
The female subject is best described as being black, heavy build, 5’6” tall, dark skin, black sweat shirt, dark sunglasses.

William Rios, 49, of 180 Powell Street, Brooklyn and Tracey Janvier, 38, of 115-23 237th Street, Elmont, were arrested regarding the above crime. The defendants were also responsible for a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Happiness and Fortune Grocery Store Inc.in Valley Stream.
Defendant Rios is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and three (3) counts of Robbery 2nd Degree. Defendant Janvier is charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Robbery 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Both defendants will be arraigned on be arraigned on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
