The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Baldwin man and an Albertson woman on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 4:50 p.m. in Baldwin.
According to Narcotics / Vice Squad Detectives, as part of Operation Natalie, Nassau County’s War Against Opioids, detectives conducted a lengthy investigation involving several overdoses and numerous community complaints. The investigation led to the arrest of defendant Jesse Sullivan, 25, of 3158 Ann Street and Samantha Carroll of 48 Lynton Road. Both were arrested without incident at 3158 Ann Street. Both defendants did knowingly and unlawfully possess and sell a substance believed to be Heroin and Fentanyl to a Nassau County Resident.
Defendant Jesse Sullivan is charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Defendant Samantha Carroll is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Both defendants will be arraigned on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
The Nassau County Police Department reminds the public that as part of Operation Natalie and our Five Prong Approach of Education, Awareness, Enforcement, Treatment and Diversion, we will be continuing with our zero tolerance response to any and all illegal drug activity within the County.
