The Second Squad reports the arrest of an Oyster Bay man at 1:40 am on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Oyster Bay.
According to Detectives, defendant Josue V. Alvarez Arias, 22, of 84 Lexington Avenue was playing loud music in his apartment. The male victim, 31, sent a text message asking that he lower the music because he and his wife, 24, and daughter, 2, were trying to sleep. The defendant went to the victim’s door and began yelling and verbally threatening the victim and his family and began banging on the door with a metal ruler causing damage to the door. In fear of their safety, the victims contacted the police. No injuries were reported.
Defendant Josue V. Alvarez Arias is charged with Burglary 2nd, two counts of Menacing 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, Criminal Mischief 3rd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The defendant will be arraigned on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
