The Nassau County Police Department reports the Arrest of multiple individuals for Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage that occurred on Friday, September 21, 2018 in the confines of the First Precinct.
Community Oriented Police Enforcement (COPE) officers, along with officers from Bureau of Special Operations (BSO) and Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT), conducted “Project 21,” whose goal was identifying establishments that sell alcohol to minors. The operation was conducted within the confines of the First Precinct, specifically in the area of Meadowbrook School.
The following individuals were apprehended as a result of this operation:
-Khaled Ahmed, 52, of 145 Haig Rd., Valley Stream. The location of the arrest was Adamz Deli located at 369 Babylon Tpke., Roosevelt.
-Khandaker Hossain, 49, of 234 Kirkman Ave., Elmont. The location of the arrest was Sunoco Gas Station located at 1220 Hempstead Tpke., Uniondale.
-Gurjeet Singh, 20, of 12407 103rd Ave., Richmond Hill. The location of the arrest was Triple Diamond, located at 510 Uniondale Ave., Uniondale.
-Talal Abuabed, 65, of 1190 Midland St., Uniondale. The location of the arrest was So Good Deli, located at 425 Nassau Rd., Roosevelt.
All of the above individuals are charged with Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage and Unlawful Dealing with a Child 1st Degree and released on appearance tickets.
