The Fifth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 9:30 P.M. in Elmont.
According to detectives, a male victim, 18, left work at Keyfood, located at 151 Covert Avenue and was walking westbound on Tulip Avenue, in the vicinity of Landau Avenue he was approached by a male white subject that verbally demanded money and stated “I’ll shoot you, I just got out of jail”. The victim complied when he saw what appeared to be a handgun in the subject’s waistband. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of US currency the subject fled on foot southbound on Landau Avenue. No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as 5’9”, skinny build, mid 20’s, crooked teeth wearing dark sweatpants and a black jacket.
