First Squad detectives are investigating a Burglary that occurred on Friday, February 08, 2019 at 10:35 am in North Merrick.
According to detectives, patrol officers responded to a 911 call for a burglary in progress on James Street. The female victim, 41, was home when she heard banging on the doors and windows. She ignored the noise and a short time later heard voices inside of the house. The victim immediately called police to report the incident. Upon police arrival, three male subjects fled out a rear door.
The investigation revealed the subjects forced entry through the front door. The victim reports no loss at this time.
