

The Fifth Squad reports the Arrest of two Brooklyn men for Larceny that occurred on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 3:27 p.m. in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, police responded to a call for a Larceny at the Old Navy located at 1093 Green Acres Mall. Upon arrival, they were informed that two men removed various items from the shelves and passed all points of purchase without attempting to pay for said items.
Defendants Michael Robins, 64, and Eric Burwell, 52, of 401 Linwood St., were located a short time later in the vicinity of the crime and apprehended. Further investigation revealed the two subjects were also responsible for the following larcenies, where they took an undisclosed amount of merchandise:
-February 1, 2019-Old Navy-1093 Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream.
-February 7, 2019-Old Navy-2034 Green Acres Rd., Valley Stream.
-February 9, 2019-Bath and Body Works-1100 Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream.
Defendant Michael Robins is charged with Grand Larceny and three counts of Petit Larceny. Defendant Eric Burwell is charged with Grand Larceny and two counts of Petit Larceny. They will be arraigned on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at First District Court, Hempstead.
