



The First Squad reports the details of multiple arrests on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 7:14am in East Meadow.
According to Detectives, an investigation into a missing juvenile led police to the Coliseum Motor Inn located at 1650 Hempstead Turnpike. When Officers knocked on the door, there were nine individuals in the room who attempted to flee the scene. Officers approached a juvenile who immediately stated he had a firearm. The male juvenile, 13, was in possession of a silver semi-automatic handgun and a loaded magazine. The other individuals were stopped in the vicinity of the hotel and the parking lot. Subsequent to the investigation it was determined that the room was not legally rented to any of the individuals.
Arrested were: one Juvenile male, 13, charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. One Juvenile female, 15, a second male Juvenile age 13, one Juvenile male, 15, and one Juvenile male, 17, each are charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. All to be arraigned on Monday, February 25, 2019 in NC Family Court 1200 Old Country Road Westbury.
Defendant Kevin Rodriguez, 18, of 45 Jackson Street Hempstead; Defendant Lester Lopez, 18, of 18 Myrtle Avenue Hempstead; Defendant Brandon Ayala, 19, of 220 Wellesley Street Hempstead; are each charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. Defendant Christian Gomez-Sorto, 21, of 45 Jackson Street Hempstead is charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree and Unlawful Possession Marijuana. All were arraigned on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
