County Executive Laura Curran and Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder are pleased to announce The Nassau County Police Hispanic Society, Nassau County Police Guardians and The Nassau County Association of Women Police have come together for the below community event:
A Dream Prom Boutique
Proms are an expense that many families cannot afford, but many high school seniors look forward to attending. The Police Associations were able to collect dresses, bags, shoes, new makeup, suits, shirts and ties. The young woman and men will choose clothing articles on display that they need to enjoy the prom without the added expense for their parents. The estimated value of donations is over $280,000.
There will be an area for proper fittings and they can be sent home with a bag full of ‘dreams come true’.
