First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 4:58 pm in Baldwin.
According to detectives, two unknown male blacks entered the Best Buy located at 660 Sunrise Highway, and concealed a Nest Video Door Bell, valued at $229.00, in a white shopping bag. Both males then exited the store without paying for the item and were confronted by a female employee of Best Buy Asset Protection. In their attempt to flee, one of the subjects pushed the cart into the employee, causing injury to her right arm. The second subject then pushed the victim to the ground causing injury to her right ankle. Both subjects fled with the proceeds on foot through the parking lot in an unknown direction.
The suspect who concealed the above item is described as a male black, approximately 30-35 years old and 220-250 pounds, 6 feet tall, short hair, wearing a gray sweat shirt and brown pants. The second subject is described as a male black, approximately 50-60 years old, short gray hair, with a full beard and mustache, wearing a neon yellow traffic vest, dark blue pants, and black boots.
The female victim, 33, was evaluated at the scene for her injuries.
