The Major Case Bureau reports of the arrest of a Uniondale man for the Criminal Sale of Narcotics that occurred on Thursday July 4, 2019 at 1:15 a.m. in East Meadow.
According to Narcotic Vice Squad Detectives, police were dispatched on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:50 p.m. near Eisenhower Park for an aided call. Upon their arrival they discovered two unresponsive adult males who had overdosed on illegal narcotics. Both aided were transported to a local hospital for treatment. One male was pronounced deceased by hospital personnel. An investigation was conducted by Third Squad detectives, Narcotic Detectives and members of the Long Island Heroin Task Force resulting in the arrest of defendant Kenneth Parris, 46, of 354 Fenimore Avenue, Uniondale. Upon further investigation, a large quantity of heroin and other drug paraphernalia was recovered at his residence.
Defendant Kenneth Parris is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
