Second Squad detectives areinvestigating an unusual incident that occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at3:46 pm in Hicksville.
According to detectives,while walking on Gables Drive in the vicinity of Gables Road, a 10 year oldmale victim was approached by an adult male white subject who was driving alight gray or silver four door sedan. The subject, who was described to be inhis twenties with blonde hair and wearing a black shirt, drew the attention ofthe victim and made, what was described to be, sexual advances towards him. Thevictim then left the area and went home. After telling his parents what hadoccurred, the police were then contacted.
Detectives request anyonewith information regarding the above incident or who may recognize the subjectdepicted in the drawing, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callerswill remain anonymous.

Petar Durant, 18, of 1134Stewart Ave., Bethpage was arrested for the above incident.
Upon further investigation,it was discovered that the defendant was previously arrested on Thursday, June27 for an incident that occurred at E. Nicholai St. in Hicksville. According todetectives, Petar Durant touched himself inappropriately in his car whileasking a 70 year-old female victim for directions. He was apprehended andcharged with Public Lewdness. He was previously arraigned.
The defendant is furthercharged with Endangering the Welfare of a child. He will be arraigned onSaturday, July 6, 2019 at First District Court, Hempstead.
