The Homicide Squad is investigating a Homicide that occurred on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:24 P.M. in Bethpage.
According to Detectives, a male victim was brought to a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, now known as Stefon Pierre, 22 of Queens, was in Haypath Park when an unidentified person shot him in the abdomen. The victim was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff. The investigation is ongoing.

The Homicide Squad reports the Arrest of Brandon P. Torres, 22, of 37 John St., Staten Island for the above Homicide. He is charged with Murder 2nd degree, Robbery 1st degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at First District Court, Hempstead.
