According to detectives, in September 2015, an employee at Nuzzolese Bros. Ice Corp., located in Hicksville discovered several checks that were sent to Arctic Glacier, a vendor, were not received. An investigation revealed the checks, valued at more than $200,000.00 were deposited in a Citizen Bank, located in Newburgh, N.Y., by James M. Miller, 69, of 115 Chambers Street. Miller was able to deposit the checks after falsifying business records. He was placed under arrest without incident at his home with the assistance of Newburgh Police.
Miller is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd degree, Falsifying Business Records 1st degree, Identity Theft 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
