The Forth Squad reports the arrest of an Inwood man for an Unlawful Surveillance that occurred on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 12:20 pm North Lawrence.
According to detectives, Jose Santana, 20, of 63 Ganser Avenue, who is employed by Kolsave Market, 11 Lawrence Lane, was assisting a female placing groceries into her vehicle when she felt his hand between her legs. A subsequent investigation by responding officers determined that the defendant placed his cell phone under her skirt.
The subject was placed into custody without incident. A further investigation by detectives revealed that the defendant had multiple videos of the same nature involving other victims on his phone. It is believed that these videos were also taken at the market.
The defendant, Santana, is being charged with Unlawful Surveillance, 2nd Degree, and will be arraigned on August 23, 2019 at First District Court in Hempstead.
