Major Case Bureau Detectives from the Burglary Pattern Squad report the arrest of a Levittown man for burglaries that occurred in Nassau County.
According to detectives, Paul Danielowich, 47, of 73 Albatross Road, after a subsequent investigation involving video surveillance, were able to identify Danielowich as the person responsible for breaking into the following establishments.
8/29/2019 at 10:00 am – Hicksville Beer and Soda, 8 West Village Green, Hicksville
9/2/2019 at 12:30 am – vacant establishment, 12 West Village Green, Hicksville
9/10/2019 at 12:30 am – Hicksville Beer and Soda, 8 West Village Green, Hicksville
The defendant would burglarize an adjoining vacant business, gaining entry in to the target location by damaging and entering through a shared wall. Once inside, the cash registers and ATM were pried open and the defendant removed an undisclosed amount of US currency, NYS lottery tickets and cigarettes.
Danielowich, was located by police and placed under arrest. At this time the defendant was found to be in possession of a tan powdery substance believed to be heroin, and an off-white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine.
Defendant Danielowich is charged with three (4) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a controlled substance. He will be arraigned in first District Court on Thursday, October 17, 2019.
