Holiday Shopping Safety
The Nassau County Police Department will be present at a local shopping mall to alert shoppers to take proper precautions during the holiday season. Officers will provide shopping safety tips to protect individual’s against theft.
The Department’s Mounted Unit will be patrolling the parking lots, Problem Orientated Police Officers will be patrolling and providing safety tips to shoppers, and Detectives will be assisting with the detection of valuables that are not adequately safeguarded and secured in vehicles.
