The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Bayshore man on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 7:22 p.m. in Massapequa.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, as part of Operation Natalie, Nassau County’s War Against Opioids, detectives were investigating a fatal overdose from Massapequa. The investigation led to the arrest of Andrew Roland, 34, of 1510 Potter Boulevard. The defendant was found in possession of two blue pills, believed to be Oxycodone Hydrochloride.
Defendant Andrew Roland has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
The Nassau County Police Department reminds the public that as part of Operation Natalie and our Multi Prong Approach of Education, Awareness, Enforcement, Treatment, Diversion, and After Care Visits, we will be continuing with our zero-tolerance response to any and all illegal drug activity within the County.
