Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder extend their condolences to the victims and their families of London, England after today’s terrorist attack.
Although there are no known imminent threats to Nassau County, the department’s Asset Forfeiture and Intelligence Unit is working with federal, state, and local authorities to ensure a cohesive exchange of information. Nassau County Police continue our heightened alert, thus intensifying the already increased patrols around the malls for Black Friday and the holiday weekend, as well as public events and other areas of concern as we move forward.
