Homicide Detectives report the details of an auto accident involving a bicyclist that occurred on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in Massapequa Park.

According to Detectives, a male, 15, was traveling on his bicycle southbound on Park Boulevard at the intersection of Sunrise Highway when he was struck by a 2013 Dodge SUV that was traveling eastbound. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
