The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Queens man on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 at 6:30 pm in North New Hyde Park.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, as part of Operation Natalie, Nassau County’s War Against Opioids, detectives were investigating a fatal overdose from North New Hyde Park. The investigation led to the arrest of Damiean Landell Johnson, 25, of 14738 253rd Street. During his arrest the defendant was found to be in possession of ten bags of Heroin and an additional quantity of Marijuana.
Defendant Damiean Landell Johnson is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
The Nassau County Police Department reminds the public that as part of Operation Natalie and our Multi Prong Approach of Education, Awareness, Enforcement, Treatment, Diversion and After Care Visits, we will be continuing with our zero-tolerance response to any and all illegal drug activity within the County.
