The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 9:15 am in West Hempstead.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male entered the Roslyn Savings Bank located at 50 Hempstead Turnpike. The subject approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the subject fled on foot southbound with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
The subject is described as a male black, in his 30s, 6’2”-6’4” tall, thin build and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black jacket and hooded sweatshirt.
There were 7 employees and 2 customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.
