The Fourth Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred in Oceanside on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 12:36 am.
According to detectives, a 27 year old male employee responded to the store Farmer Joel’s Market located at 177 Davison Avenue for an alarm ringing. Upon arrival he observed a male subject in the rear alley near the rear door using a hand truck wheeling a ATM machine that was inside the store. When the subject realized he was being observed by the the victim he dropped the machine and fled on foot east on Madison Avenue. Later the victim also noticed that the front door glass was shattered and the rear door pried open. An undetermined amount of US Currency was also discovered missing left in a register inside.
The male subject is described as being male, black, 6’2” tall, heavy build wearing dark clothing. There were no injuries reported.
