Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a homicide that was discovered and reported to the Hempstead Police Department on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 2:32 pm in Hempstead.

According to detectives, an unknown male white victim, who appears to be in his late 40’s, was found deceased in the rear parking lot of McHebes (Pub/Bar), 722 Fulton Street.

The cause of death has yet to be determined and the investigation into this incident continues.

Upon further investigation, the Medical Examiners Office has determined the victim succumbed to death by suicide.
