




Major Case Bureau Detectives report the arrest of five (5) males from Chile for Burglaries that occurred in February and March of 2020 throughout Nassau County.
According to Detectives from the Burglary Pattern Team, Detectives were investigating numerous high-end residential burglaries. The investigation led detectives to a location in the Bronx and the detectives were able to arrest five males without further incident.
The defendants are responsible for the following Burglaries:
On 2/12/2020 at a residence in Sands Point
On 3/3/2020 at a residence in Great Neck
On 3/4/2020 at a residence in Locust Valley
On 3/4/2020 for Attempted Burglary at a residence in Glen Cove
All five defendants are in the United States on a 90-day ESTA Visa and have no known address in this country.
Defendant William Jesus Medel-Perez, 23, has been charged with two (2) counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and one (1) count of Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree.
Defendant Amaro Valentino Rosas Rosas, 23, has been charged with two (2) counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and one (1) count of Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree.
Defendant Juan Antonio Hernadez Rosas, 25, has been charged with Burglary 2nd Degree.
Defendant Bayron Felipe Cruz Palta, 26, has been charged with Burglary 2nd Degree
Defendant Fabian Lopez Catalan, 20, has been charged with Burglary 2nd Degree.
The Defendants will be arraigned on Friday, March 6, 2020 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
