County Executive Laura Curran and Commissioner of Police Patrick J. Ryder continue to remind the public of the Police Department’s plans and protective measures for Police Officers and Police Medics when responding to aided cases that are symptomatic of the Coronavirus.
If you call 911 for a health emergency, our communications bureau operators will screen each caller to obtain specific information to protect against the Coronavirus.
Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, N95 respiratory protection masks, gloves, eye protection and gowns continue to be provided to all first responders within the Department.
However, if you have flu like symptoms please contact your health care provider.
Our citizens should continue to be vigilant when receiving telephone solicitations or emails from persons which could be scams or rumors regarding COVID-19. Please use specific non-emergency numbers for police reports and questions. If you believe you may have been a victim of any of these scams, please call your local precinct immediately
If the public wishes to file a police report, you are directed to call one of the Precincts below on their non-emergency number. Please do not respond directly to a Precinct as this information can be effectively obtained over the phone.

Please be reminded as we continue forward Finger Print requests at all Precincts and Headquarters has been suspended until further notice. Pistol license applications for renewals will still continue as will modifications to exiting permits.
