
The Eighth Squad reports on the arrest of a homeless man that occurred on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 8:35 pm in Hicksville for Grand Larceny.
According to detectives, officers responded to a call of a suspicious 2017 black Dodge Durango parked on Mayflower Drive. Upon arrival officers found defendant Clifton Woods, 19 operating the vehicle. An investigation found the vehicle to have been reported stolen on Tuesday April 28, 2020 and defendant Clifton Woods was placed under arrest without incident. Further investigation found Woods to be in possession of several credit cards from other larcenies that had occurred in Nassau County.
Defendant Clifton Woods is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, two counts of Grand Larceny 4th degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, April 30, 2020 in Mineola.
