Second Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Plainview man for an incident that occurred on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 2:00 a.m. in Plainview.
According to Detectives, officers responded to Orchard Street for a suspicious occurrence. Upon arrival the victim stated to police that she found two holes on the second-floor exterior wall of her residence. The victim found a pellet on the floor of her juvenile daughter’s bedroom and a second pellet pierced an interior wall. Officers noticed a neighbor’s window had been shattered and boarded up. Officers began an investigation and it was determined the defendant, Daniel Parisi, 33, of 82 Orchard Street was responsible for the damage done. A further investigation determined that the defendant accidently discharged a shotgun from within his home. The pellets exited his residence and entered the victim’s residence. He was arrested without further incident.
The defendant Daniel Parisi has been charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Prohibited Use of a Weapon and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. He was arraigned on Thursday, April 30 in Mineola.
