

The Major Case Bureau reports two arrests that occurred on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 8:46pm in New Cassel.
According to Detectives, Defendant Pierre K. Fede, 31, of 822 Prospect Avenue, New Cassel and defendant Stanley Brevet, 34, of 195 Garden Street, New Cassel forcefully entered a residence on Prospect Avenue in New Cassel. As both defendants demanded money, Defendant Fede was armed with a 4-inch dark colored pocket knife as they pushed the male victim, 50, to a rear room; a second male victim, 24, was able to call 911. When Officers arrived, they heard someone pleading for the males to leave and observed two black males standing in the doorway of the residence. Officers ordered the two defendants onto the ground, defendant Fede complied and was taken into custody without incident, the knife was recovered. Defendant Brevet refused multiple lawful orders but was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries and no proceeds were reported.
Defendant Pierre K. Fede is charged with Attempted Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. Defendant Stanley Brevet is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree. Both defendants will be arraigned on Saturday, May 9, 2020 in Mineola.
