The Public Information Office reports the details of an aided case involving the birth of a baby boy on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 3:40 am.
According to police, Fifth Precinct police officers Andrew Chevannes and Paul Song responded to an Emerson Place residence for a call of a woman in labor. Upon arrival the Fifth Precinct police officer’s assisted Nassau County Police Medic Michael Schwartz transport a 30-year-old female to a local area hospital for treatment. As they arrived at the hospital parking lot the First Responder’s were able to deliver a healthy baby boy in the back of the Nassau County Police ambulance at 4:18 am. The mother and baby are doing fine.
