The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 10:00 PM in Uniondale.
According to Detectives, a 55-year old female victim was walking on Front Street when an unknown male approached her and demanded everything in her purse. The victim attempted to walk away at which point the subject grabbed her arm and threatened her with a knife. The victim freed herself from the subject and stated that she was going to call the police. The subject immediately fled on foot northbound on Manor Parkway. No injuries were reported at scene. The investigation is ongoing.
The subject is described as a hispanic male, between the ages of 30-35 years old, having a thin build and approximately 5’2’’ tall. Subject was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jeans.
