The Fifth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 5:00 pm in Elmont.
According to detectives, a 65-year male cashier was working at the Bolla Market located at 535 Hempstead Turnpike when two unknown subjects approached the victim. Subject one grabbed the victim around his neck and threw the victim to the ground. Both subjects then removed cigarette cartons in excess of $ 700.00 dollars from behind the register. Both subjects then fled on foot with the proceeds with a third subject that was waiting outside. They fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported. The investigation is ongoing.
- Subject one is described as being male, black, 5’10” – 6’0” tall, thin build, black t shirt, black mask, black pants, and red cap.
- Subject two is described as being female, 5’4” tall, stocky build, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants
- Subject three is described as being male, black, stocky build, 6’0” tall, black hat, red t shirt, red shorts, white sneakers, black mask.
