The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of an Oceanside woman for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 7:25 AM.
According to Detectives, defendant Cami Turchin, 49, of 15 Franklin Place, was employed at Chesney, Nicholas & Brower, LLP, a law firm located at 485 Underhill Boulevard, Syosset. Over the course of several years, from March 24, 2017 to February 8, 2019, defendant Turchin had on multiple occasions stolen company funds for her own personal use. Upon her employer discovering the loss of funds, Police were called and a report was filed. On August 25, 2020 at 7:25 AM, defendant Turchin arrived at the 8th Precinct located at 299 Hicksville Road, Bethpage, and was placed under arrest without incident.
Defendant Cami Turchin is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd degree and nine counts of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st degree. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Mineola.
