Third Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 4:50 pm in East Garden City.
According to detectives, a male and female entered Macy’s located at 630 Old Country Road. The two subjects took store merchandise and placed it into a bag. They proceeded to exit the store without making a payment. Store security attempted to stop the individuals when the male displayed a knife and swung it. The subjects fled on foot.
No injuries reported.
The male subject is described as black, 6’0” tall and 220 lbs. He was wearing a NY KNICKS hat, a black shirt, black shorts over black pants and a face mask.
The female is described as black, 5’5” tall and 130 lbs. She was wearing a white shirt, black pants with a floral pattern, a blue bag and a face mask.
