
Eighth Squad detectives report the arrest of a Levittown man for an incident that occurred on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:50 pm in Levittown.
According to detectives, Christopher Price, 74, of 33 The Plains Road, agreed to meet with a female victim, 31 and her male friend, 50, at Shepard Lane and Market Lane. The female is an acquaintance of Price and had prior meetings with him for drug dealings. While at the location in her friend’s car they observed Price exit his vehicle with a shotgun, approach them and threaten them while pointing the shotgun at them. Price then returned to his car and fled the scene westbound on Market Lane. The victims then call 911 with a description of Price’s vehicle.
Officers responding to the scene observed Price at the intersection of Constable Lane and Taylor Lane and pulled him over. Price was subsequently placed into custody and inside his car was a loaded shotgun as well as a vial of what is believed to be Ketamine.
During his arrest processing Price consented to a search of his home and during that search detectives recovered two handguns, and two “Assault” style long rifles, one being stolen, that were illegally possessed. Also, in the home, were numerous rounds of ammunition, including armor piercing bullets, high capacity magazines and an additional amount of what is believed to be Ketamine.
Price is charged with two counts of Menacing 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, ten counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.
He will be arraigned in Mineola on 12/21/2020.
