Members of the Burglary Pattern Squad match donation
Detective Ryan Hines of the Nassau Police Burglary Pattern Squad was severely injured in April of 2020 during an investigation regarding a stolen car ring. Detective Hines has had numerous surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, which has enabled him to walk again.
Detective Hines would like to give back to the community in which he serves and will be donating a $1,000 check to the USMC Toys for Tots program for the patients at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital.
Once the members of the Burglary Pattern Squad learned of Detective Hines’s donation, they decided to honor their colleague and match his donation for a grand total of $2,000 for Cohen’s Children Hospital.
